Lauren Strickland is an associate in SBSB’s Houston office. Since joining the firm in August 2023, she has combined her attention to detail and prior medical research experience when handling cases. Currently, she serves as a member of the firm’s Defense Base Act practice group and employs prior experience in employment defense and government contracts in her work.
In 2013, Lauren worked as a Medical Research Intern at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and co-authored numerous published abstracts in Blood, a journal affiliated with the American Society of Hematology. Six years later, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Corporate Communication from Baylor University. While in school, she was involved in multiple organizations and gained hands-on experience as a legislative intern during the 85th Texas Legislative Session. In 2021, she enrolled at South Texas College of Law in Houston and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023.
Lauren is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. In addition to her practice, she is a qualified Impartial Third Party pursuant to Chapter 154.052 (a) of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Her experience and attention to detail gives her clients the best chance of success.
