Zack Combs

Zack Combs had never been to Houston and didn’t really know what to expect before arriving on a sweltering July day. But he quickly discovered that he loves the diversity and vibrancy of the city and appreciates the opportunity to begin his legal career at a firm with such strong support and mentorship of young attorneys. Zack views SBSB as authentic and real, with partners who are willing to take the time to bring out the best of each associate.

Zack’s keen eye for the details and issues of law in each case are evident through his research and analysis and ultimately the development of litigation plans. Working in the firm’s practice group focusing on representing clients in claims based on the Defense Base Act, Zack is setting out legal strategies in defending claims from around the world and thrives on the challenges of navigating the diverse legal questions that can arise.

A native of Kentucky, Zack received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and earned his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law.
