Timothy Durr Jr. is an associate in SBSB’s New Orleans office. Prior to joining the firm in May 2025 as a member of its Defense Base Act practice group, he spent time clerking in a variety of settings, first with The Honorable Jay C. Zainey of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. From there, he clerked for multiple private firms, gaining valuable litigation defense experience.
A New Orleans native, Timothy has spent his entire life in South Louisiana. A graduate of Brother Martin High School, he attended Louisiana State University and earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and his Juris Doctorate from the school. In addition to his law degree, he earned a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2024.
Timothy is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association and takes great pride in serving clients while enjoying the rich heritage of the Crescent City.
