John Doran was driven to practice law from an early age. In college, the challenge to solve complex legal problems for those without the training or ability to do so themselves was irresistible to John when he was deciding on which course of study to pursue. During that time, he was employed as a summer associate for three insurance defense/worker’s compensation firms, where he learned the ins and outs of that area of the law. Then, once he had achieved his legal degree, he was drawn to the further complexities of the Longshore Harbor Worker’s Compensation Act.
What makes John so good at solving his clients’ problems is that he has the ability to take a large amount of data — facts, records, documents and claims — and condense it down to its base value. Once he’s done that, the path to achieving his clients’ goals becomes much clearer, and he can chart a course to success.
Fortunately for his clients, once John sets his mind to something, he goes all in to achieve that goal. That explains why he works as hard as he does for his clients. Each case presents a unique opportunity to problem-solve. The added bonus is that in untangling each case’s issues, John is helping his clients maintain their livelihoods.
