Donald Collier has always been interested in law and the process of settling disputes. Knowing that he’s helping his clients through what could be one of the most challenging and stressful times for their business and bringing the case to a satisfactory end is what keeps him going every day.
Donald enjoys the challenge presented by each unique case, and he considers every new client an opportunity to expand his horizons. A large component of Donald’s motivation comes from his natural ability to outline the legal concepts at play and make them relatable to his clients so that they understand how he can help them come to the best possible resolution to their case. It’s one of his strengths, and he enjoys working with his clients to get to the right conclusion.
It’s these communication skills that also serve him well in his hobby as an actor. He’s performed in Houston and Austin live theater productions over the years, with his favorite role being Little Moe in Five Guys Named Moe at Houston’s Ensemble Theater. His love of performing and the challenges of a new role are really a two-way street with his law career. Performing new roles in the theater helps him grow as a communicator while his ability to work with a legal team and his clients to clearly execute a legal strategy benefits him onstage with other actors. In the end, it’s his ability to sincerely and succinctly communicate to both audiences – theatergoers and clients – that make him such an asset in both arenas.
