A native of the diverse community of Miami, Conor Arevalo is excited to begin his legal career in the firm’s Boca Raton office. Each member of his large, close-knit family lives in Florida, and he chose to remain in the Sunshine State as well after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school Conor actively pursued public interest work, providing legal support to organizations dedicated to child welfare and human rights causes. He hopes to continue a level of pro bono work at SBSB, where he has found a team of supportive colleagues and a range of challenging work.
Conor is actively supporting the firm’s Defense Base Act practice, managing cases from around the world. He finds that his research and writing skills are particularly important in this area, while relying on his ability to listen to and cooperate with internal teams as well as with claimants and opposing counsel.
During the pandemic Conor has also taken advantage of learning to cook, backed with a wealth of Cuban and Filipino recipes and guidance from his family.
