Robert L. Bamdas is the managing Partner in the firm’s Boca Raton, Florida office. He focuses his practice on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Act, Defense Base Act (DBA), NFIA, and OSCLA, Marine injury claims including defending passenger claims and Jones Act matters, 905(b) claims, marine and general subrogation matters as well as claims in general admiralty law, transportation law and general liability matters. Additionally, Robert has defended numerous catastrophic injury, death claims and occupational exposure/disease cases. He also specializes in War Hazards and Special Fund Reimbursement, Foreign Voluntary Insurance issues and complex marine and international coverage issues. He has successfully litigated numerous cases before corresponding tribunals and handled various appellate matters.
