Kent Rogers is an Attorney in the firm’s Chicago office, focusing his practice on the defense of Federal Claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Act and the Defense Base Act (DBA) and Illinois State Workers’ Compensation Claims. Kent also handles matters involving Illinois General Liability and Premises Liability Actions, matters arising under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Toxic Torts, and Transactional Agreements. With a practice dedicated to defending employers, companies and insurance carriers in liability and workers’ compensation matters, Kent is well versed in all aspects of the claims process.
Kent has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal tribunals. He has tried cases in various jurisdictions including before Arbitrators of Compensation Claims, State Court Judges, Federal Judges and Federal Administrative Law Judges, in both jury and non-jury cases. He has spent his entire career litigating in the civil defense realm, successfully defending numerous insurance carriers, employers, companies, and third party administrators in cases involving Workers’ Compensation claims, Maritime Law claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the DBA, Asbestos Exposure cases, and General Insurance Defense matters.
