Christopher Carr is the Managing Partner in the Chicago office, focusing his practice on workers’ compensation & employer’s liability defense, subrogation, and general liability defense. His practice also includes representing employers and insurance carriers before the United States Department of Labor in work-injury claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Non-Appropriated Funds Act (NAF), and the Defense Base Act (DBA).
Christopher is an “AV” rated attorney, a prestigious honor that specifies lawyers with very high preeminent legal ability and is a reflection of the lawyer’s experience, expertise, integrity and overall professional excellence. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Association of Trial Defense Counsel (IDC), the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, and the Claims Litigation and Management Alliance (CLM), the International Propeller Club, and serves on the CBA’s Insurance Law and Tort Litigation Committees.
Christopher received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1992. He earned his law degree from DePaul University in 1998. Christopher is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and is admitted practice before the federal district courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.
